Understanding Foreign-Trade Zones Uses and Benefits


Greg Jones of the Foreign-Trade Zone Corporation will talk about the Foreign-Trade Zone program at a seminar presented by the Mississippi World Trade Center on July 9 at the Isle of Capri Hotel in Biloxi, Mississippi.

The seminar will cover FTZs from A to Z, and include essential information on how they work, the benefits to U.S. companies and communities, and the different types of Foreign-Trade Zones.

Designated an Honorary Life Member by the National Association of Foreign-Trade Zones in October 2000, Greg has been an active member of the NAFTZ since 1987 and served as its president from 1993 to 1995.

Greg Jones is a principal of the Foreign-Trade Zone Corporation – Zone Project Administrators and consultants for 8 Zone projects in Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee. Greg specializes in integrating business-oriented FTZ procedures into the operations of companies that use Zone procedures for manufacturing and distribution operations, and in helping communities establish FTZ projects.

The Foreign-Trade Zone Corporation is a service provider offering FTZ cost-benefit analyses, applications, boundary modifications, assistance in designing and creating Zone projects, training, and Foreign-Trade Zone management software.

The seminar is designed to provide a working knowledge of cost saving measures companies can receive by being part of the Foreign-Trade Zones program.
